If you know me....you probably know that I am the world's most courageous girl when it comes to dentists..... Yup, that is me....girl-hero when it comes to anything medical, white coats, funny desinfectant smells etc. Why am I telling you all this? Yesterday I had an appointment with the much dreaded dentist. I have to go to a special anxiety specialized dentist, because normal dentists can not keep me in their chairs. Still, I worry about these dental appointments....weeks in advance the date keeps popping up in my mind.....eeeeeeek...dental date approaching....my body goes into red alert all by itself just by thinking about it. Have I ever told you that I actually drove my bike into a tree because I was avoiding to look at the house where the dentist lives??? Well, I did...., not one of my proudest moments ever. This can never happen with my current dentist, for the simple reason the practice is too far away for me to cycle to and I really am particular about driving my beloved car into trees...LOL
Right....I am digressing. I had a dental appointment and as usual, I did not sleep much in the night before. When I came out of bed in the morning I felt an incredible pain in my neck and even after the dental appointment it would not go away. In fact, it got worse and worse and yesterday evening my neck felt twice its usual size. Nothing that a painkiller would not cure, but after one more night of being very much awake due to extreme pains I went to the doctor this morning. Nothing serious, but my shoulder and neck are in a constant cramp and my shoulder has a big lump on it. I can not move my right leg, can't swallow well and can not yawn (which is what I want to do, because I am bored). Now I have painkillers, muscle relaxers and stomach protectors and let's hope this will all be gone quickly. I always have neck muscles like steel cables, but this is just "ouch"....My little gremlin (Kayla) seems confused over my qualities as a yodeling mountain girl and has decided that the best thing to do is to sit on my lap and watch me with big eyes....I wish I could show you how good she is at "sit", "paw", "down" and "roll-over". She loves learning tricks and is amazingly good at them. This morning was a deja vu when I found her happily lying on the 5th step of the stairs, the exact spot where Caya could always be found...hahaha.
