Letter from Egypt

For 24 years Morten Harket's voice has been keeping me company. First through my teenage years and later through my twenties and now my thirties as well. He was lucky enough that I fell in love with a guy that gives me CD's with his voice on it..Just a few weeks ago, when my husband went to a museum in the north of the country he came home with one DVD of a concert of A-Ha and a brand-new CD of Morten Harket. The CD is called Letter from Egypt and I love it. It is now the only reason for me rushing out of bed in the early morning, getting my e-mails answered at 7.00 a.m. just so I can get to work as soon as 8.00 a.m., put on the stereo and drown myself in the soothing sounds of this CD. Next to the stereo there is a pile of CD's....yes...also featuring A-Ha and Morten Harket...I was never the girl to fall in love with popstars unlike the other girls of my class; I had just fallen in love with the sound of Morten Harket's voice and this love has never really faded away...I really hope his voice will keep me company for many, many more years to come!
